RRFC SPECIAL Events for all Raleigh Rugby Football Club Members this Friday February 15th!
Event Number 1 for all RRFC Members:
BE THERE AT SAMMY’S TAP and GRILL this FRIDAY FEBRUARY 15th at 6:30pm. (2235 Avent Ferry Road in Raleigh)
This is a club fundraiser and we need all hands on deck as the Raleigh Rattlesnakes and the St. Joseph’s Jesuit Prep School Hawks U19 Rugby Team all the way from Philadelphia, PA will sit down and feast together before Saturday’s match on the 16th.
Admission is $10 for a delicious Pasta/Pizza/Wing Buffet and Sammy is kicking back a portion of the proceeds to the RRFC.
Let’s get as many RRFC members there as possible to WELCOME St. Josephs while filling up on the good stuff.http://www.sammysncsu.com/
Event Number 2 for all RRFC Members:
Got to say, this is kind of a BIG DEAL for the RRFC, the NCYRU, the sport of rugby in general, the Milchuck family and most of all, for Jacob Milchuck.
For the last 7 seasons, the Rattlesnakes have been sending quality rugby players to the collegiate ranks, and will continue to do so. This year will mark a milestone in RRFC history and is certainly noteworthy for any youth player aspiring to go to college or perhaps the Olympics.
As many of you may already know, Jacob Milchuck has accepted a very significant scholarship offer (in the 6 digits monetarily speaking) from Furman University. Furman has an excellent collegiate rugby program and boasts great facilities as well as a great coaching staff. http://www2.furman.edu/athletics/athletics/ClubSports/Rugby-Men/Pages/default.aspx
Hard work both on the pitch and in the classroom as in an excellent grade point average and numerous academic awards have paid off for Jacob and we would like to congratulate his efforts.
This Friday February 15th at Sammy’s Tap and Grill we will make the signing announcement to all and share some history about the youth program and Jacob. This is basically the equivalent of SIGNING DAY for Jacob.
Hard work both on the pitch and in the classroom has paid off for Jacob and we would like to congratulate his stellar efforts.
We have several other seniors that will be moving on and we would very much like to recognize them as well and their collegiate destinations.
PLEASE COME OUT TO SUPPORT THE RRFC, ST. JOSEPHS, the Raleigh Rattlesnakes and the Milchuck family on this great day and be a part of history!
