Age Eligibility:
The U19 Boys division is for boys ages 18 & under as of September 1, 2025.
The U16 Boys division is for boys ages 15 & under as of September 1, 2025.
Practices:
- Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning August 25th at Green Road Park – BB Field #1, 6:00pm – 7:30pm.

Fall 7s Competition
Rattlesnakes U19 & 16 Boys teams will compete within North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU). Matches will be played on the following dates and at the listed locations:
- September 28, 2025 – Statesville, NC
- October 12, 2025 – Southern Pines, NC
- October 26, 2025 – Fayetteville, NC
Registration fees: $165.00
- Raleigh Rugby registration fee is $100.00 which pays for all practice, match, tournament, and officials fees and includes a Raleigh Rugby Backpack to help you manage your rugby gear.
- USA Rugby registration additional $65.00 annually.
- Raleigh Rugby believes “everyone who wants to play, gets to play” and in “building community through the sport of rugby” and offers players partial and full scholarships for the Raleigh Rugby registration fee.
- Additional fees may apply to help support this team’s travel and events. Each family is responsible for their own travel and accommodation if necessary.

The U19 Boys division is for boys ages 18 & under as of September 1, 2025.

Practices:
- Practices will be held Mondays and Wednesdays, beginning January 12, 2026. Practice locations will be in the Raleigh Area and will be shared once Parks & Rec provides field assignments.
Competition
Rattlesnakes U19 & U16 Boys teams will compete within North Carolina Youth Rugby Union (NCYRU) and will be complemented with friendly matches and tournament play. Matches are played on Saturdays in the Raleigh, Clayton, Southern Pines, and Charlotte area and will begin in March and conclude in mid-May. In addition to regularly scheduled league play, this team will kick off at Carolina Ruggerfest in Matthews, NC the first weekend in March. Additional tournament events may include the Gonzaga Rugby Classic in Washington, DC.
Registration fees: $315.00
- Raleigh Rugby registration fee is $250.00 which pays for all practice, match, tournament, and officials fees and includes a Raleigh Rugby Backpack to help you manage your rugby gear.
- USA Rugby registration is an additional $65.00 annually (if you played in Fall 7s 2025 season, your USA Rugby register is good for the Spring Season 2026 and there is no additional cost).
