2009 Charity Sevens
Saturday July 18th 2009 the Raleigh RFC is proud to present our Annual Charity 7’s Tournament. With a portion of all proceeds going to charity, we encourage you to form your team and head down to Raleigh for a great weekend of Fun, Sun and most of all Rugby!
Charity 7’s is a social tournament consisting of 16 teams of Men, Women and Youth divisions, Charity 7’s promises to have great action both on and off the field. With a full concession area with food and beverages of all types available for purchase.
Immediately after the tournament concludes will be the awards ceremony followed by the post tournament social. This social will be located in Downtown Raleigh at the Hibernian Pub on Glenwood Avenue. Hotel Accommodations can be made at any of the many hotels located around the downtown area. For a discounted rate however, you can stay at the Holiday Inn or Best Western on Capital Blvd, both are affiliates and sponsors of the Raleigh RFC. Just let them know you are from the Rugby tournament and they will give you a discount.
We appreciate your interest in coming to Raleigh for the Charity 7’s Rugby tournament and helping us raise a little money for Charity while at the same time having a great day on the pitch. We look forward to seeing you!
